Service Description
LESSON DURATION: 2.5hrs Your sewing addiction starts here! Join our Beginners Sewing Basics class to learn fabulous sewing skills for life and make your very own Tote Bag from scratch! Learn how to use your sewing machine and its various functions like threading the machine, winding a bobbin and what your accessories are for. Plus you'll learn and practice basic sewing stitches and finishing techniques. Practical Project: Using our pattern and fabric provided, you will make from scratch, your very own Tote Bag to take home! What you need to bring to a Lesson: • Perfect working order domestic sewing machine, spare bobbins, all foot accessories and manual (if available) • Fabric scissors, dressmaker pins, various coloured + white cotton and thread snips * This class is suitable for participants 14yrs and over. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to book/attend. If you are under 16yrs you must have a parent or guardian attend with you - please see booking form for more details. Under 14 yrs lessons - please request a private lesson BOOK ONLINE to Reserve your Spot > you will be sent an INVOICE soon after.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know via the CONTACT Page. The below policy is effective from 15/07/2025 for all bookings. All bookings made prior to any modifications/updates to the policy will be honoured. Cancellation Policy - GROUP LESSONS To Cancel your booking, please Get in Touch Bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received. Once received, the following policy applies: * 100% Refund for cancellations with 7 days or more notice from the start of the class. * Cancellations with less than 7 days notice but more than 24 hours notice from the start of the class will be issued with a fully transferable full value credit note for a future booking to be used within 6 months of the original booking date. * No Refunds for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice from the start of the class. * No Refunds for a No-show to a class unless it is due to sickness, where we will issue a full value credit note upon issue by you of a doctor’s certificate to be used within 6 months of the original booking date. * You can Reschedule a class online up to 48 hours prior to the start of the class you wish to reschedule. Under 48 hours, please Get in Touch Waitlist - If a class is booked out and you wish to go on a waitlist, please Get in Touch Cancellation Policy - PRIVATE LESSONS * 100% Refund for cancellations with 24 hours or more notice from the start of the lesson * Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be issued with a fully transferable full value credit note for a future booking to be used within 6 months of the original booking date. Cancellations BY US * We reserve the right to cancel any class if there is insufficient enrolment and/or Private Lessons if instructor unavailability or other unforeseen circumstances. * You will be offered options for a full refund or reschedule of class and will be notified via SMS, phone and/or email at least 12 hours hour before the class if it is cancelled.
